Why Does it Seem Like the Stretch Goals Aren't Unlocking?
You can largely ignore the progress numbers on the Stretch Goals . . .
We currently have 1 unlocked (Overkill D20 Green) and 1 more that should unlock any day now (Overkill D6 Red). Several more are about half way there. I know. You aren’t seeing high numbers on any of them - yet. That’s because the dice are offered at various price points depending on which pledge you take, and there is no way to sync the Stretch Goals that are duplicated across all of the price points. As a result, the Stretch Goals seem to not be making a lot of progress, but they are all edging toward the totals, and we are counting up all of the duplicate Stretch Goals to determine if a die reaches its goal and then we unlock all of the Stretch Goals with the same name (but different price point.) So, it might say 3 dice toward a Stretch Goal at your price point, but it might say 26 on another, and 15 on still another copy of that same Stretch Goal. We go in once per day and unlock any Stretch Goals that have enough orders across the campaign (pre-order backers and Kickstarter backers combined.)
Please pm [email protected] Subject: Stretch Goals with any questions and comments. Thanks!!

What Are BackerKit Stretch Goals And How Do They Work?
These NEW BackerKit Stretch Goals work somewhat like they do in Kickstarter. But instead of reaching a funding threshold, our goal is a quantity, and we can run several Stretch Goals concurrently!
You can go ahead and put them in your shopping carts and if they don’t unlock by the deadline: May 27th, we’ll take them back out of your cart if you don’t before orders are locked down at that time. You may add Stretch Goal dice into your Reward Tier (pledge level) if you want to, but if you do, shoot us an email with what you want to do if they don’t unlock.
You may email info@qtgames Subject: Stretch Goals and tell us which alternate dice you want or if you want me to just remove them from your cart, etc. Before we charge any cards later in the year (closer to the shipping date), we’ll remove any locked dice that are still in your cart before processing your card.
The Stretch Goals have either an unlock requirement of 100 dice or 200 dice, meaning that to be unlocked, a particular Stretch Goal die needs to have a total of 100 or 200 total quantity among all of the finalized shopping carts (including pre-order shopping carts by newcomers) by May 27th. If it does, it will be left in the carts and eventually charged and shipped with the rest of the unlocked dice. If it doesn’t, I will remove it from the carts, if you don’t prior to the deadline. I have to review each shopping cart anyway when I do the shipping review, so I’m happy to remove locked dice at that time. Please be sure to email me with what you want to do if you ordered any of the Stretch Goal dice as part of your pledge level (And careful, because it may not be obvious while answering the questions whether a die is a Stretch Goal die or not. It will tell you in several places, but it isn’t as clear in the questions and I can’t control that And offer it as part of a pledge level reward.
The last thing any of us wants is to get close to reaching a Stretch Goal near the end and then some backers remove the locked dice from their carts thinking we won’t reach the Stretch Goal, and that ends up being the reason we don’t reach it. I’m happy to remove locked dice as I have to review all of the shopping carts anyway when I do the final shipping review.

What is the Lock Down Date For Stretch Goals and Orders, and Will You Keep Open The Store?
May 27th - that’s the big day!
After that date, it’s hard to say. We might allow brand new orders through the Pre-Order store. We might even keep going with some of the Stretch Goals or even offer new ones, but that’s all very iffy. First we have to see how many folks show interest. The more dice we buy, the cheaper we can make them, but if we don’t get a lot of orders, we can’t offer good prices. We don’t have an online store - yet- and we aren’t going to open one unless it seems feasible. We can’t guarantee the current prices, much less lower them, unless we do really well on BackerKIt. We hope to continue on BackerKit and transition to another store, but we’re still evaluating it and frankly, it’s really in your hands and in the hands of other dice and game lovers. We’ll advertise, but our budget is tiny and word of mouth is what makes the big difference. We’d love to keep going. Time will tell!

What happens if the Apocalypse Rising Set Unlocks but not a Stretch Goal die from the Set?
If the set unlocks, all of the dice in the set unlock! So, if you only wanted a handful of Apocalypse Rising D6s, and that Stretch Goal doesn’t unlock, but the set does, you’ll still get those D6s! Likewise, if the set doesn’t unlock, but all of the dice in it do individually, we’ll unlock the full set. Make sense? I have to do that manually, so if 24 hours or so pass and I still haven’t unlocked something that was unlocked a different way, just shoot me an email. I’ll be checking near the end and won’t be a stickler. Most of us want those dice unlocked, so if we’re off by a few minutes, I won’t tell if you won’t. The reason we have a deadline is because I need to tally up all of the total dice of each type and place the order. If orders are placed after the deadline (if that’s even possible), and I don’t order enough dice to cover the extras, orders that come in after may not include those dice. I will probably not be reordering any of the dice again for an indefinite period of time (I still don’t know if I’ll have a store or not. I’ll review that later based on how well BackerKit does.) So, let’s get those Stretch Goal dice unlocked and wrap things up by May 27th!

Friendly Shipping, DDP and DDU Traditional Shipping . . .
We tried Friendly shipping but for a variety of reasons outlined in updates, it wasn’t working. Due to overwhelming interest, we held a vote and the decision resulted in removing Friendly Shipping (DDP) in favor of exploring cheaper DDU options. Doing so opened up many couriers to us and as it turns out, we have been able to take advantage of cheaper shipping with some additional flexibility if certain backers need a special service like insurance or tracking, which we may be able to offer as an Add-On. We are still researching what options we can offer you, but will keep you informed.
DDU (traditional shipping delivered duties unpaid) means that you are responsible for your own back-end fees as with most shipments. We have no control over customs or other fees set by a courier or government, but they are typical for traditional shipping. With this shipping method we were also able to move away from using a fulfillment center, which gave us additional flexibility with regard to shipping your orders. Thanks for your patience as we complete the transition that should result in improving your overall experience with this Kickstarter campaign. Please see Kickstarter Updates for more details on this change.

Why Did We Charge For Shipping Post-campaign?
It simply isn’t possible to accurately determine how much your reward shipment will cost ahead of time, as the weight can change based on which reward tier(s) you put together to determine your total quantity from reward and Add-ons. Rather than heavily pad our shipping charges to cover potential unknowns, we’d prefer to charge more accurately. Backer shipments are more complicated than pre-order shipments, as backers receive Friendly Shipping not offered in the Pre-Order store. Due to that complexity, only Estimated Shipping values are provided for backers at this time.
Friendly Shipping fees for backers will include a portion of VAT and other fees, where as pre-orders are handled DDU, with the full responsibility to cover customs, duties, etc. by the recipient of the order, not the seller. We have done our best to offer the lowest prices to both backers and pre-order customers. We are running a lean campaign and will do our best to keep shipping prices as low as possible, but with pandemic concerns causing increased costs and delays, and with so many options, there are too many unknowns to provide such details up front.

Current Estimated Shipping Date: September 2020
Revised shipping and store set up took a month longer than we thought and hoped it would, so we're scrambling to try and make adjustments on other fronts. We will not be able to give as much time as we had hoped to unlock the new BackerKit Stretch Goals or for you to finalize your orders as we want to get as close to a September Shipping Date as possible. (Likely late September, and possibly into October, with Pre-Order customers being shipped after our backers. It is impossible to determine final shipping dates. Some of our shipping quotes indicate 3-10 days, a few all the way up to 28 days for difficult to reach regions. In addition, it's hard to say what impact the pandemic will have on shipping. It has already caused numerous hiccups and some countries have even been closed down to shipping, at least by some couriers. We're hoping because it's going to be a few months before we ship, that things will settle down more. Further, so far, we've been told that none of your countries are experiencing severe issues with shipping. Again, that could change, but we'll do our best to ship as soon as possible.
Last Updated At: 04/30/20What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
